Amanda Overmyer pleaded guilty to DUI back in October 2006 near her hometown of Mulberry, In. She received a suspended sentence of 60 days and was placed on 180 days probation, which ended in August 2007.

The rapper Lil Wayne (real name: Dwayne Carter) was arrested in January 2008 on drug charges in Arizona. The 25-year-old performer was nabbed in Yuma County on felony possession counts and booked into the local lockup, where the mug shot was snapped.

Sidney Blumenthal, a senior Hillary Clinton campaign adviser and former White House aide to Bill Clinton, was arrested in January 2008 for drunk driving in New Hampshire, one day before the state’s presidential primary. Blumenthal, 59, was popped by Nashua cops after his rented Buick was pulled over for speeding. When Blumenthal, pictured in the below Nashua Police Department mug shot, showed signs of intoxication, a cop gave him a field sobriety test, which the Clinton operative failed. Blumenthal, who declined to take a Breathalyzer test, was booked into the Nashua lockup on an aggravated DWI charge.

Heidi Fleiss, known as the former Hollywood madam, has been arrested.

Fleis was arrested on prescription drug possession charges and her mug shot photo is to the left.

Fleiss was arrested February 7th 2008 for driving under the influence, according to reports, and she’s being charged for prescription drug possession - without a prescription!

The AP reports that Fleiss was pulled over at about 9:30 a.m. by sheriff’s deputies responding to a report of a possible drunken driver, a Nye County sheriff’s office said.

Gore, 24, was arrested July 3, 2007, on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs after deputies pulled him over for speeding. He was driving a blue Toyota Prius about 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway when he was pulled over at about 2:15 a.m., Sheriff’s Dept. spokesman Jim Amormino said. Gore was released from the men’s central jail in Santa Ana after posting $20,000 bail.

The former Laguna Beach star was arrested on suspicion of DUI near Laguna in March. Two people (including Smith’s passenger) suffered minor injuries.

The rapper was ordered to jail for probation violation in August after charges that she assaulted her neighbor with her BlackBerry and racked up seven traffic tickets after police stopped her for talking on her cell phone. She was sentenced to a year in jail.

The Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis was arrested in Florida in April after failing to surrender to authorities in Panama City, Fla., to serve jail time for contempt of court. Francis was then charged with tax evasion, bribery and sexual battery – all in the same month.

Following his DUI arrest in September, the 24 star surrendered to a Glendale, Calif., jail to begin a 48-day sentence on Dec. 6. Sutherland, who had been on probation for a previous DUI when he was picked up in Hollywood last fall, was assigned to laundry and kitchen duty. “I’m very disappointed in myself for the poor judgment I exhibited,” he said in a statement. “I’m deeply sorry.”

The respected astronaut was arrested in February for attacking and attempting to kidnap a woman she considered her romantic rival. Nowak, who wore a disguise when she allegedly assaulted Colleen Shipman with pepper spray, was fired by NASA, charged with attempted murder and later apologized to Shipman.

Just a few days after the Hills star was arrested in Greenville, N.C., for underage drinking and resisting a public officer during a nightclub raid, Wahler was sentenced to two months in jail in March for beating two men during a 2006 drunken altercation. He was again booked in April on charges of assault and criminal trespassing – and entered rehab a month later.

Paris Hilton was booked into a Los Angeles jail in June 2007 to begin serving time for violating terms of a probation sentence imposed following a drunk driving plea. In January, weeks after pleading no contest to a reckless driving charge, the 26-year-old Hilton was cited for driving with a suspended license. After signing a document acknowledging she was not to drive, Hilton was pulled over by cops in February and charged with a probation violation. As a result, she was sentenced to 45 days in jail. In 1994, former Olympic ice skater Tonya Harding was convicted for her role in a cover-up surrounding the plot to injure Nancy Kerrigan, Harding’s skating competitor. Harding was also charged with throwing a hubcap in her boyfriend’s face.
